Step back in time on this scenic and nostalgic day trip to Osceola, Wisconsin. Travel by motorcoach with comfort along the way as we head to the historic Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway, operated by the Minnesota Transportation Museum.

Upon arrival, board beautifully restored vintage railcars and settle in for a relaxing journey through the St. Croix River Valley. At 11:00 a.m., the train departs for a memorable ride high atop the bluffs, offering breathtaking views of wooded landscapes, wildlife-filled backwaters, and the scenic St. Croix River. Travel back to 1948 as you cross the historic Swing Bridge that once opened to allow steamboats to pass.

Enjoy an onboard box lunch during the ride, featuring a turkey sandwich with tomato and lettuce, chips, cookie, and beverage. Onboard restrooms are available for your convenience.

After returning to the depot, we’ll travel to downtown Stillwater’s Pedestrian Plaza for time to explore and shop. Browse unique boutiques, specialty gift stores, art galleries, and candy shops that showcase the charm and character of the community.
